Accessibility

Our Aim

We want this site to be usable by everyone who visits it, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is a target. We do not claim conformance until it has been tested.

What We Have Done

• Pages use clear headings and landmarks, with a link to skip straight to the main content.
• Every interactive element can be reached and used with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is always visible.
• Text and background color pairs were checked against WCAG contrast requirements.
• Reading text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute for legibility.
• Every form field has a visible label that stays in place, and required fields are marked in words, not only with color or symbols.
• The site reflows at phone widths and when zoomed, without sideways scrolling.
• Scroll scenes, moving type, and depth effects are turned off completely when your device asks for reduced motion, and every scene is then shown in full as ordinary content.
• Translucent panels become solid when your device asks for reduced transparency.
• No sound plays on this site.

Known Limitations

The words HEIRLOOM VINE appear in our proprietary display typeface in a few places. They are real text with an accessible label, so screen readers and translation tools read them normally.
